The Road to WrestleMania is looking a bit clearer after the events of last night’s Elimination Chamber. Many matches are set, and many more are rumored. There are only so many spots on the card though so lets see who will and who wont make the cut.
Wow what a strange WrestleMania we watched last year. It might be easier to do this in groups because there are that damn many people who I’m willing to bet wont be wrestling on this year’s event.

Tag teams. Epico and Primo, with Rosa battled Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd and the Usos. There is no chance any of these teams will be on the show this year. Tyson is injured for one. If the rumored Daniel Bryan vs Kane match takes place then in theory they will lose the tag titles before ‘Mania and thus a new champion will possibly defend it on the show. That wont be any of these teams. Right now I would put Brodus Clay and Tensai as most likely to capture the titles. Possibly defending against the Prime Time Players. Again, none of these guys though.
4. Divas
Kelly Kelly, Eve Torres and Beth Phoenix all left WWE this year. Maria Menounos doesn’t even work for WWE. With the way the Divas division has been booked I wouldn’t be shocked if there wasn’t a match at all. There’s plenty of time to build up a feud for Kaitlyn, but how likely is it?
3. Team Teddy
That’s right. The whole team. I don’t think any of them are going to make it onto the show. Even if its 4 hours long. Santino Marella, R-Truth, Kofi Kingston, Zack Ryder, Hornswoggle, either Bella, Aksana. None of them. Booker T and Teddy Long will appear in their GM roles but wont be wrestling. If it wasn’t for the impressive returns of Mark Henry and Jack Swagger, plus Dolph Ziggler having the MITB briefcase I possibly would have included all of Team Johnny as well. Unless a Money in the Bank match is added to the card, there is no way Kofi is on the show.
2. Cody Rhodes
His tag team should be all split up now. He is no where near the chase for either the US or Intercontinental titles. Again, unless there’s a MITB match Big Show is going to start making fun of Cody for not even getting the opportunity at a WrestleMania moment.
1. Undertaker
I’m going to go out on a limb and call this one. I don’t think he has it in him this year. All rumors seem to point to Undertaker meeting with WWE and I’m really thinking that its to decide he will not be at this year’s show. Next year for the 30th one for sure. Now Paul Heyman’s actions at the Elimination Chamber will become CM Punk’s crutch. They’ll have a falling out and that will lead to the money match of CM Punk vs Brock Lesnar. This also takes Triple H off the card.
